“I like the bigness of it, being on top of a mountain and looking out over this country. I like being connected to the land. This gives me a sense of freedom; I’m detached from the chaos of life.”
D. Anderson, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2004 |

Day/Half Day Tours:
An inspirational video, "Why the Cowboy Sings," and
superb museum will set the tone for our country adventure.
A world-famous
saddle shop will transport us to the world of saddles, bits, bridles,
antique silver, creaky floorboards, and high ceilings.
Under a
clear blue sky we’ll
thrill to the spectacular Ruby Mt's., home to wild sheep, goats,
turkeys, mule deer, alpine wildflowers/birds, and mountain lakes/streams.
You can wade in one of the frigid-at-any-time-of-the-year streams,
if you’d
like!
We’ll relax with a satisfying lunch in picturesque Lamoille.
A country church, back dropped by the Rubies, the most photographed
church in Nevada, boasts antique Tiffany windows, brought to Nevada
by wagon from San Francisco.
Other tour options include wagon ride, antique
store, working cattle ranch with tack room, historic Donner Party’s
Hastings Cutoff of the California Trail, Great Basin history and
geology, and museums. 2005 Scheduled Events can be incorporated
into a tour. ==>
